Lygia is a lovely coastal village, located 6 km southwest of the town of Lefkada. It is a family destination and also very popular among fishing lovers. The colorful gardens of the houses, create a beautiful frame; the main beach boasts calm crystalline waters and soft sand. The picturesque fishing port hosts many boats and there is a wide selection of fish taverns which serve the best seafood dishes. The village is mostly preferred for a short stay or a daily excursion from the center of the island.
